Kemtah Expands Healthcare Offering

Albuquerque, NM
June 1, 2007

The Kemtah Group is expanding its business base with an increased focus on private and public sector healthcare opportunities. Kemtah’s healthcare division will help healthcare organizations analyze their IT infrastructure, implement necessary changes, and ultimately transform that infrastructure to better support the organization’s business objectives. Kemtah’s transformation and optimization models are being implemented at several hospitals across the nation and which Kemtah will roll out to other healthcare organizations. Kemtah has been working in the healthcare industry for over 7 years and is leveraging that experience to implement new concepts of IT service management based on ITIL and other frameworks.

Kemtah is also pioneering the impacts of integrating clinical engineering and IT. As more healthcare operations merge data and clinical devices, IT organizations must address new levels of IT security and maintenance as well as new procedures for service management. Kemtah is helping healthcare ITOs establish new IT service processes, training technicians, and restructuring service desks to achieve quality, responsive support for all data devices.

“Making hospitals and other healthcare entities more efficient in delivering IT services is critical not only to the hospitals themselves, but also to anyone who is faced with the growing costs of providing health care,” says Stephen Wade, President of Kemtah. “If we can help hospitals control costs and deliver better service to patients then we are really making a difference in area that affects us all. I can’t think of a better way to spend this company’s energy.”
