Kemtah Expands Government Business
Albuquerque, NM
March 20, 2007
The Kemtah Group is expanding its business base with an increased focus on Federal government opportunities. Kemtah has been a Federal contractor to the DOE since 1989 and will be expanding its focus in both the Nuclear Weapons Complex as well as the Open Science community. In addition to its work at the national laboratories, Kemtah has been supporting defense contractors since 1990 and will enhance that operation with increased revenues from current contracts and pursuit of new clients. Leveraging its commercial success in the healthcare arena, Kemtah will also be expanding its proprietary healthcare help desk of the future to Government healthcare entities, such as the Department of Veterans Affairs, Centers for Disease Control, and others. Kemtah specializes in supporting the IT infrastructure of unique environments including Government R&D, national security, and healthcare.
To lead Kemtah’s Government business expansion, Sandaren Hazlett joins the Kemtah executive team as Vice President of Government Services. Ms. Hazlett has over 25 years experience in government IT services and contracting. She previously served as Director at Tier Technologies focusing on state and local government for the past 8 years, and spent the 15 years prior to that at TRW, now Northrop Grumman.
“Kemtah is delighted to welcome Ms. Hazlett to our executive team,” said Keith Harris, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Kemtah. “She brings an enormous depth of successful business experience and relevant expertise to Kemtah. We look forward to her contributions to Kemtah’s future growth.”
